Is an extraterrestrial deception described in Revelation, and if so, what beings are hiding behind the delusion?

The Commonality Across All Rebellions

Many people believe that the false revelation of aliens as our space brothers or even creators could be behind the great deception of the end times. But this scenario is not an obvious fit for Biblical prophecy. There are some passages that could hint at some kind of alien involvement in the end times, but it is not clear.

However, another extraterrestrial group of beings not born on this earth, are mentioned extensively. And these extraterrestrials are behind deceptions in the Bible from Genesis to Revelation and in apocryphal writings such as Enoch and the Book of Giants.

Who are they?

In Genesis, who tempted Eve? Who gave men forbidden knowledge, and created the hybrid Nephilim and beasts, leading to the great flood? Who ruled the nations unjustly, lured the Israelites from God, and tempted Judas to betray Jesus? And who will rise from the abyss, empower the kingdom of the antichrist, deceive men with false wonders, lead a genocidal army of 200 million, make war with the saints, and send demons to call the kings of the earth to Armageddon? And what are the identities of the beast, the false prophet, the whore of Babylon, and the dragon? The answer to all of these is… fallen angels.

All of the evil in the Bible began with rebellious fallen angels who tempted, taught, corrupted, and deceived mankind. Mankind, on the other hand, has been unfaithful to God and let itself be corrupted by these angels.

As they have throughout history, fallen angels will be behind the great deception at the end of this age. So by understanding these angels’ past and current strategies, we can gain some insight into how they will deceive in the future, and if such deception includes an alien delusion.

Biblical Truth Meets Ancient Mythology

Proponents of an alien deception believe that the fallen angels will produce Nephilim once again at the end of this age. While the first Nephilim were to be killed by warring and the flood, the Bible tells us that there were giants/Nephilim after the flood. But scholars debate the origin of the post-flood Nephilim. Did the Nephilim or their genes survive the flood? Or did a second group of angels engage in the transgression of mating with human women?

All of the scenarios are possible. But the Bible is not alone among ancient texts in describing imprisoned gods, a great flood, giants, and hybrids of gods and human women. Many cultures share these accounts but describe them by different names. And we can learn some things by comparing these accounts.

Most people know the basics of Greek mythology, so I’ll use this as an example.

Greek Accounts

The Greeks believed that prior to their pantheon of gods, the Titans ruled the earth. While there are many differences between the Titans and the pre-flood angels, both accounts result in the imprisonment of these beings in the lowest parts of the underworld, the abyss or Tartarus. So while the Greek account is flawed, it is likely describing the same entities as the Bible. And there are more similarities.

According to Plato, the gods were allotted to various nations. For example, Greece was allotted to Athena and Hephaestus, while Atlantis was allotted to Posiedon. We see a similar concept in the book of Daniel, where an angel tells Daniel of the angelic princes over the nations.

God also told Moses through a song that He had a heavenly assembly of divine beings (akin to the Greek pantheon), and He placed them over the nations. And we learn from Psalm 82 that this assembly ruled wickedly, and God rebuked them. Like the Biblical account, Plato states that the Greek gods ruled men for their own pleasure (not God’s).

But one thing that Greek mythology describes that is not specifically mentioned in the Bible is that these gods in the pantheon mated with human women (post-flood). Could the half-god offspring or demigods of Greek mythology be the same as the Bible’s post-flood Nephilim?

The Greek demigods such as Hercules, Perseus, and Achilles were mighty heroes who performed legendary feats. This is very similar to how the Bible describes the Nephilim, calling them “mighty men who were of old, men of renown/famous.“

So while not clear in scripture, it seems quite possible that the post-flood angels continued to mate with human women, creating post-flood Nephilim.

Furthermore, these gods produced even stranger things than the Nephilim.

The Myths of Strange Flesh

So if these demigods were real, what about the stranger beings; the chimera like the minotaur, satyr, and centaur?

The Bible doesn’t give many details but states that all flesh was corrupted in their ways. This includes animal flesh. Jude connects the sins of the watchers and Sodom and Gomorrah, stating that “they in the same way as these indulged in gross immorality and went after strange flesh.”

Jude’s understanding of this topic may have come from the Book of Giants, which indicates chimeras were real. This book survived only in fragments found in the Dead Sea Scrolls, but important clues can be found in the fragments. 1Q23 Frag. 1 + 6 states how the angels took various species that cannot be mixed in nature and inappropriately combined their genes. 4Q531 Frag. 2 conveys that the angels’ miscegenation resulted in giants and monsters.

Could the chimera of mythology be based on real creatures?

It’s as if these angels were like mad scientists. Is this so hard to believe? Throughout the Bible, the sins of man are right in step with the sins of the angels. And today, we see scientists manipulating DNA to create chimeras, inserting human genes into animals such as mice and pigs.

Neither angels nor humans seem to be able to stop themselves. This rebellious tendency seems to be rooted in an irresistible urge among God’s creations to create, just as God did.

So if the fallen angels continued to blend genes after the flood, is there evidence that these incursions continue today?

Today’s Mythology

I know for many people, this topic is hard to believe. When we spend most of our days in the activities of normal life, it’s hard to consider things in the places we don’t tread. But many people report experiences much different than our daily reality, and it is hard to ignore the volume and consistency of such accounts.

There is a mythology of creatures that traces back thousands of years and continues today. There are countless testimonies of creature encounters, including sasquatches, mothmen, reptilians, little people, and even giants. These creatures seem to have traits of both the physical and the spirit; part human or animal and part divine. Are these creatures the product of angelic hybridization?

And then we have the UFOs and so-called alien abductions. The consistency between abduction accounts makes it hard not to take these reports seriously. And many of these victims report that these aliens do things involving their reproductive systems. There are even women who report being impregnated and then having the baby taken from their womb.

Interestingly, many victims report a hierarchy among the beings that they see during these abduction encounters. There are tall, blonde-haired beings that are in charge. These may be fallen angels. Then there are the greys, which may be demons inhabiting biologically created bodies. And still, other people report meeting creepy modern Nephilim; children and adults who appear to be the product of angelic and human cross-breeding.

This sounds really hard to believe, but are these not the same types of activities reported in the Bible, Enoch, and the Book of Giants, but with the addition of technology?

It’s All Related

It’s hard to see the connection between such seemingly unrelated phenomena, but all these things are connected.

Take a look at Skinwalker Ranch in Utah. This ranch has a long history of reported paranormal activities. And it has been heavily researched by wealthy businessmen.

Robert Bigelow’s National Institute for Discovery Science studied it for about eight years, and some of the people who worked there have spoken about some of the things they witnessed. These eyewitness accounts include seeing a being exit a portal and a reptilian creature who disappeared after being shot.

Currently, Brandon Fugal owns the property, and his investigations are witnessed by a camera team that produces a show for the History Channel. The lead scientist was also the lead scientist on the team who produced the UAP report in 2022 for Congress.

What is interesting is the broad spectrum of phenomena. This team has witnessed or interviewed eyewitnesses who have reported traditional paranormal activities. These include skinwalkers, sasquatch or wolfman-like creatures, large canines, cattle mutilations, ghost activity, and witchcraft.

But there are also significant technological phenomena, including multiple UFO sightings, radiation, equipment malfunctions, GPS anomalies, and broadcast radio frequencies. They have even seemed to be able to stimulate UFO activity thorough launching rockets into the area of a possible portal or by broadcasting a 1.6GHz radio transmission back.

The only thing that can explain this mixing of ancient lore and modern UFO phenomena is that these things are all connected.

So how can we explain this connection?

Bringing it All Together

The only way I, as a Christian, can reconcile these strange activities back to the book of truth, the Bible, is to zero in on the fallen angels.

The fallen angels are responsible for former, current, and future rebellions against God. They are responsible for the mixing of human and angelic DNA to produce hybrid giants and strange beasts. They are responsible for giving ancient humans technology such as metallurgy and sorcery. Through these technologies and possibly with the help of hybrid giants, humans were able to create the megalithic structures still standing today that we cannot reproduce, even with modern technology. (see Japanese attempt to build a pyramid in 1978.)

These activities account for the myths of ancient civilizations, the lore of medieval societies, and the high strangeness of today. Our technology has soared in the past 4,500 years since the flood, and we seem to be following in the angel’s footsteps. Humans now mix human and animal genes for the advancement of medicine, so is it surprising the fallen angels who previously created hybrids through sexual reproduction now use sophisticated DNA technologies for targeted results?

But one question I’ve often wrestled with is why spirit beings like angels would use flying aircraft?

Per the Bible, angels can inhabit both realms, heaven, and earth, and have the ability to take physical form. They demonstrated knowledge of the material world by passing the knowledge of metallurgy to men. To fully manipulate humans, they need physical tools. And to fully deceive humans, they need objects like UFOs that are beyond our own understanding.

So if the UFO phenomenon was contrived to manipulate humans, could these activities be part of the great deception of the end of this age? And if so, is this supported by the Book of Revelation?

Extraterrestrial Deception in Revelation

Through reading the Book of Revelation and other prophecies, aliens are not the obvious foe. The presence of fallen angels is certain; the beasts, Abaddon and the locusts, and the angels who kill one-third of mankind. But the appearance of thousand of UFOs in the sky, ushering in a new era of aliens and humans, is lacking.

But God would not have spelled everything out in detail in Revelation. To do so, would tip the enemy off to their own strategy in advance, ultimately causing the enemy to change it. As the Apostle Paul said, God hides certain wisdom, for the powers would not have crucified Jesus if they had known the result.

Now there are a couple of statements in Revelation that are a mystery to me that may hint at an extraterrestrial presence.

The Stars That Fall

After Jesus opens the sixth seal, the sun will become dark, the moon will become blood red, and “the stars in the sky fell to the earth like a fig tree dropping its unripe figs when shaken by a fierce wind.”

But while the sun darkening and the moon becoming like blood are events we see in nature, the stars falling is not. So are these real stars?

The Bible uses the term stars to describe angels at times, such as in Revelation 9:1. So these falling stars may not be stars but angels. Jesus seems to support this assertion in Luke 21:26. Referring to the Day of the Lord, He said, “the powers of the heavens will be shaken.“

Fallen angels are the powers of the heavens. So in the sixth seal, it is possible that Jesus will shake such powers and technologies from their hiding places. In doing so, He may gound them on the earth in front of all humanity to face God’s wrath along with the rest of the planet.

The Demons Like Frogs

Another possible reference to “aliens” is in regards to Armageddon. Beforethe final battle of the end of this age, the dragon (Satan), the beast, and the false prophet will gather the world’s rebellious nations to battle. They do this by expelling demon spirits from their mouths that look “like frogs“.

This description has led many to postulate that these may be the creatures we know as alien greys. These creatures have a physical presence but are said to act mechanical, and soulless. For this and other reasons, some speculate that the greys are flesh suits for the embodiment of the disembodied demons.

These frog-like demons got out into the world performing signs to gather the kings of the whole earth to do battle against the almighty God. I imagine that if tens of thousands of UFOs fell upon the earth, and the “aliens” perform signs, and convince the world they are humanity’s creators, the almighty God may appear to be the deceiver. He may appear vulnerable in comparison to this all-powerful extraterrestrial army.

Avoiding the Great Deception

The Bible is a book of great wisdom, authored by the omniscient God. Through Revelation and other prophetic writings, He has given us enough information to recognize and avoid deception, without giving the enemy the playbook.

Fallen angels will be behind the deception at the end of the age. So it seems logical that if such angels are using UFOs today to masquerade as aliens, they will continue in these practices.

While an extraterrestrial deception could be the great end times deception, biblical prophecy only hints at such a scenario. And there is danger in believing any one theory about the form of the deception to come from the false prophet. If we expect one scenario and the deception comes in a different form, we could be deceived.

So while we don’t exactly know how the enemy’s strategy will play out, the Bible gives us enough information to spot the deceiver, whatever form he takes. First and foremost, know that the Antichrist will claim to be the Christ, but He will arrogantly blaspheme the God of the Bible.

Christians who are not strong in their faith and knowledge will be fooled, so be wise and discerning.
