The signs and attributes of the end times have massively accelerated over the past four years, raising the possibility that Jesus’ return is coming soon.

It Seemed too Far away

When will Jesus return? That’s a question we have contemplated for at least 1,990 years. We know from Revelation 20 that He will rule on the earth for 1,000 years, a millennium. But when should we expect this millennium?

Early church fathers like Barnabus wrote of their belief that the seven-year cycle of six working days or years plus a sabbath applies to millennia as well. Jesus’ reign over the earth will come during the 7th millennium, a sabbath period of peace on the earth.

Jesus first came in the flesh near the end of the fourth millennium. Forty-some years later, when the fifth millennium officially started, the time of Torah and sin sacrifices had ended. Could He return within the same timeframe 2,000 years later, near the end of the sixth millennium? If so, when would that be?

Exactly 2,000 years ago, Jesus was walking on the earth. While there is some debate over the start of Jesus’ ministry, most researchers place it at either 26 AD or 29 AD. His death approximately 3 1/2 years later would have been in either 29/30 AD or 32/33 AD.

So, if He were to return 2,000 years later, the events of Revelation could play out between 2026 and 2033.

I started exploring the idea around 2018 or 2019. But when I contemplated this back then, the condition of the world seemed distant from the world we read of in Revelation. I struggled to believe that the world could degrade that fast.

But it has.

In what seems like a great acceleration, the events of Revelation suddenly seem plausible in the near future.

A Massive Shift

I remember, starting around May 2019, I kept hearing one word from the Lord – prepare. For what, I did not know. But as we approached the New Year, something changed. As I prayed in the early morning hours of January 1st, I felt that a shift had occurred. The new year would be very different from the last, but I didn’t know how.

And what a year it was. COVID-19 changed the world, and the world has been rapidly changing since. By the end of the year, we saw these end-times advances, among others:

• a pandemic caused by a generically altered, functionally enhanced virus,
• vaccines that hijacked the blueprinting biology of our bodies,
• restrictions on where could eat and travel based on our compliance with governmental and societal demands,
• mobile phones used to surveil our activity, and
• restrictions on public gatherings with extreme prejudice towards church services.

But the shift went further than that. Within these past few years, famine has spread across the world, war has erupted among global powers, new diseases have spread and mutated, social unrest and conflict have ignited, and depravity became celebrated.

It was as if heaven had released the four horsemen upon the earth in 2019.

In three short years, the world of the Beast and False Prophet in Revelation 13 grew near. Here are some of the ways that we have advanced towards the prophecies in this revelatory chapter.

The Global Acceleration

There are two specific signs of the Beast and False Prophet that will identify them. The mechanisms for these signs are now emerging to soon become reality.

1. The False Prophet will be able to restrict trade to only those who take the mark of the Beast.
   • COVID-19 demonstrated how easily society will go along with measures to restrict trade. Restaurants, airlines, and stores restricted access to those with proof of vaccination and those wearing masks.
   • Proponents of Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) found an opportunity to advance their agenda after the collapse of FTX and major volatility in cryptocurrencies. CBDCs will give authorities the power to monitor, control, and restrict trade.
2. The False Prophet will cause all who do not worship the image of the Beast to be killed.
   • Surveillance of people through cell phones became standard practice in during COVID-19.
   • The gain in popularity of listening devices such as Amazon Echo/Alexa, Google Nest, and Apple’s Siri enabled these companies to hear inside our homes.
   • Apps such as TicTok, Instagram, and YouTube track what we view to customize content to our interests. This creates a digital profile of our interests, religious beliefs, political beliefs, and for many, their vices.
   • The expansion of 5G and the Internet of Things (IOT) will allow users to control devices anywhere, remotely. While at the same time, scientists, militaries, and corporate visionaries are working to implant devices into our skin or brain that could allow us to interface through the IOT.
   • Technologies such as those described in Bill Gates patent publication number WO/2020/060606, Cryptocurrency system using body activity data, can enable Revelation 13 type control. This patent covers a system that connects a device with a body sensor that verifies whether the data generated by body activity meets the conditions such that cryptocurrency can be issued to the person. The type of device is not specified in the patent, so it could apply to anything from a smartwatch to an implantable microchip.

Interestingly, men like Gates with similar agendas are part of a global organization of power players, the World Economic Forum (WEF).

The Global Push

I’m sure many, if not all of you, have heard of the WEF. The global ambitions of these elite world leaders is hard to ignore when considering their initiatives. Like out of fiction, their leader Klaus Schwab resembles the bald villain of the James Bond movies, Ernst Blofeld, who was set on world domination. It’s hard to ignore the similarities, as Schwab has made many statements that hint at such global ambitions. He recently asked at the WEF opening, “what does it mean to master the future.”

One of these initiatives is called the Great Reset. In this program, the WEF saw an opportunity to take advantage of the COVID pandemic to rebuild the “future state of global relations, the direction of national economies, the priorities of societies, the nature of business models and the management of a global commons.” All by “drawing from the vision and vast expertise of the [WEF] leaders…“

The WEF is clear in its visions for what Schwab called the Fourth Industrial Revolution. This global revolution would be “characterized by a range of new technologies that are fusing the physical, digital and biological worlds, impacting all disciplines, economies and industries, and even challenging ideas about what it means to be human.”

Does this not reek of the global grasp and control the False Prophet will have, as described in Revelation 13?

The Antichrist spirit is likely behind the WEF to pave the way for the one to come. But despite the similarities, Klaus Schwab is not the Antichrist, and the WEF will not rule the world. As Daniel and Ezekiel 38 tell us, the Antichrist will be obsessed with Israel and rages against Jewish control of Jerusalem. His foremost desire will be to sit on the throne of David that Jesus will one day occupy.

There is one thing possibly on the horizon that could enable him to rise.

The Crisis to Come

The only way for a new global power to rise is for the old powers to fall. We are in a series of crises that are shaking world powers to their core. But the one crisis that could accelerate this is a world war.

We are progressively moving deeper into the war between Russia and Ukraine. Last week, Biden decided to send M1 Abrams tanks to Ukraine along with Germany. Biden stated, “There is no offensive threat to Russia.” But that is not how Russia sees it.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, “We categorically disagree with this, and in Moscow, everything that the alliance and the capitals I mentioned are doing is seen as direct involvement in the conflict. We see that this is growing.“

In addition to Russia, Biden may draw the U.S. into war with China if he keeps to his word. When asked in a CBS 60 Minutes interview broadcast in September if U.S. forces would defend Taiwan, he replied: “Yes, if in fact, there was an unprecedented attack.“

When asked to clarify if this meant that American men and women would defend Taiwan in the event of a Chinese invasion, Biden replied: “Yes.“

WWII occurred between 1939-1945, roughly 80 years after the Civil War was fought in 1861-1865, which was roughly 80 years after the Revolutionary War in 1775-1783. Each of these wars had the potential to change the U.S. forever, for better or worse. The book, The Fourth Turning: An American Prophecy, published in 1997, explained this 80-year cycle and an inevitable crisis. The authors forecasted that America would enter another major crisis, such as a world war, 80 years after WWII. This brings us to 2025. Like the prior wars, such a war would have the potential to make the U.S. more powerful, or break it.

2025

The year 2025 seems to keep coming up.

Just days ago, a four-star Air Force General predicted in a memo to his officers that the U.S. will be at war with China by 2025 and advised his commanders to prepare.

Also, relevant is a report the Israeli Intelligence Ministry recently issued. This report concluded that the world is on the verge of a cliff and is likely to be struck by a variety of crises affecting all aspects of life.

And scholars calculate that the last 50-year jubilee of this age will begin in fall 2025.

Such a war could create the world environment for a rising leader to war through the Middle East as foretold in Daniel 10-12, Exeliel 38, Isaiah 19:4, and Zechariah 12&14. It could also lead to an important end-times sign, the “covenant with many” prophesied in Daniel 9:27.

We Know the Time is Near for Jesus’ Return

The COVID pandemic was a tremendous accelerator of our progress toward the world under the Beast and False Prophet’s control. Every day since we have been progressing through a series of events that are bringing us closer to that world.

Three years ago, I identified a potential window from the mid-2020s to the early 2030s when the events of Revelation could play out. But the gap at that time seemed too large. However, today it seems entirely conceivable that the world could be like Revelation 13 just a few years from now.

We will not know the hour of Jesus’ return. This is in keeping with the analogy Jesus uses many times of a Jewish wedding. We are at a time when a place has been prepared for the bride and groom, and the wedding party awaits the call, but only the groom’s father decides when to send his son out to retrieve his bride.

Because only the Father knows the time, Jesus will come like a thief in the night at an hour we do not expect. But we will be prepared and not be taken by surprise. The Apostle Paul wrote, “[we] are not in the darkness for the day to overtake you [us] like a thief would.“

So we must follow Jesus’ advice and “interpret the present time.“

We must not be like the generation of Jesus’ day who suffered because they “did not recognize the time of [their] visitation.“

The things we are seeing today are concerning, but they are a sign to us of what is about to come upon the earth. Prepare your heart because Jesus is coming soon.
