Experiences with aliens and UFOs are undeniably connected to witchcraft and the New Age, providing clues to an end-times alien deception.

Witchcraft Conjured the First Grey Alien Contact
I wrote in part II of this series, Alien Deception: From Angels to Fairies and UFOs, how the grey alien archetype began in science fiction in the late 1800s. However, the first reported abduction that included a grey alien didn’t occur until 1961.
But during this gap, people claimed to have contacted alien-like creatures through witchcraft.
The first person known to have made contact with a being resembling a grey alien is Aleister Crowley. Crowley was an English occultist who practiced witchcraft involving sex, drugs, demons, and sacrifice. In 1918 he performed a ritual intended to open a portal. He claimed to have succeeded and, in doing so, contacted an entity called Lam. Lam’s appearance closely resembles the grey aliens described by abductees.
Interestingly, Lam is Tibetan for “Way” or “Path,” and it is said when Crowley summoned him, he opened the path for the grey aliens. The name also connotes false prophecy because Jesus said that He was the only “way.”
Crowley’s successor, Kenneth Grant, confirmed Lam’s connection to the grey aliens, stating, “Lam is a Great Old One whose archetype is recognizable in accounts of UFO occupants.” A contemporary practitioner of this witchcraft, Brian Butler, also claimed to have contacted Lam through a ritual and described the contact as “like a classic gray experience.”
Occultists further claim responsibility for enabling the UFO phenomenon through the witchcraft of a Jet Propulsion Laboratory founder named Jack Parsons and Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard. This dubious pair allegedly enlarged the Crowley portal using a magic ritual in 1946. Proponents of this theory cite the 1947 Kenneth Arnold spaceship sightings and the Roswell crash in that same year to support this claim.
These occult origins later transpired into the founding of a new religion for a new age.
Alien Spirit Guides in the New Age
There is an interesting case of a woman named Robin Harfouche. Her testimony ties together witchcraft, aliens, the New Age, and the end of this age.
Robin’s great-grandmother had been a witch, which may have opened her up to psychic experiences. When Robin was 18 (~1975), a spirit guide approached her and told her she had been chosen to propagate a new religion called the New Age. While common today, the term New Age had not yet been coined at that time.
The spirit guide also told her that this New Age religion would become “the one-world religion.” You may recognize this expression as a common term for the Antichrist’s religion at the end of this age.
According to Robin in an interview on Its Supernatural, the guide “looked like an alien… like the pictures you see that people draw of aliens when they say they’ve been abducted.”
Interestingly, Robin’s discussions with this spirit guide are very similar to those reported by alien abductees.
One of the primary things these aliens convey is that the person has been chosen. The abductors tell them a message, but this message is always spiritual in nature, promoting concepts of pantheism. Following the experience, the abductees report a strong desire to spread the message. And through their contact, they believe their message will ultimately lead to reforms in all of our institutions across the nations bringing in a New Age of true science and spirituality.
The New Age practitioners recognize the spiritual nature of the aliens and even seek them out as their “spirit guides.”
But if these entities are aliens from another planet, why are they focused on spiritual matters?
The Proof of Aliens’ Spiritual Nature
Angelic Abilities
A well-known UFOlogist, John Keel, set out to prove the extraterrestrial nature of the UFO phenomenon. However, he soon abandoned the theory that UFOs were from other planets when he discovered the significant overlap between alien encounters and psychic phenomena. Keel (a non-Christian) noted that according to scholarly literature, Satan and his demonic forces can manifest in any form and have the same abilities demonstrated by UFOs and their occupants.
Author Paradox Brown has noted that the angels in the Bible carry out tasks for God, such as delivering messages. In the Bible, angels frequently communicated messages through dreams and visions. She cites examples such as Daniel’s vision of an angel, Ezekiel’s vision of the temple, or Peter’s deliverance from prison. Interestingly, over 90% of people reporting alien abduction experiences typically describe their experience starting with “I’ve had these dreams.”
Associate professor of psychology Elizabeth L. Hillstrom cites multiple top-notch scholars who have arrived at the same conclusion. These include Pierre Guerin, a scientist associated with the French National Council for Scientific Research, and Harvard psychiatrist and Pulitzer Prize-winner John Mack.
But there is one more reason that puts the nail in the coffin for me. That is, the ability to end abduction experiences by calling on Jesus.
The Name of Jesus
CE4 Research Group has interviewed over 350 people who claimed to have an alien abduction experience. In these interviews, they found that when Christian abductees called on the name of Jesus, their attackers fled.
This group has over 100 such testimonies published on their website. Here is a sampling:
- “And then one night I saw an alien at the side of my bed, and I said, ‘I know what you are! Go away! Jesus is my Lord!’ And it got angry, and it was as if it was being suctioned out of my room right through the wall. I never saw it again.” – Kelly
- The tall grey had been beside me as I was walking and was now beside the table. It picked up an instrument attached to a mechanical arm… I called to Jesus for help and finally got my lips to move as I croaked out his name with much difficulty. Immediately, the experience ended, and I woke up in my bed the next day…” – Brent
- “…I was struck with a demonic encounter… I knew what this was… I’ve had a few attacks before. [But] it was an alien. It looked almost identical to the ones described on TIME/LIFE and TLC or the history channel… Eventually, Jesus or my angels came to the rescue, and I was freed from the attack.” – Caleb
While I personally have never had an alien abduction experience, I have experienced demon attacks. I can see the overlap in many of these testimonies, but there are some differences. The primary aspect that connects the experiences is that the attackers flee at hearing the name of Jesus.
So, if these aliens are really evil spiritual beings in disguise, what is the purpose of their activities?
The Alien Deception to Unseat the Bible
A central theme in alien messages given to abductees the challenging of biblical truth.
As noted by the Christian group, Alien Resistance, aliens frequently tell abductees that they selected them to propagate a new worldview that always contradicts the Bible. Some of those abducted have even founded new religions and cults. Here are some of the messages:
- Creation – “Did you create humans, too?” Angie asked, and he confirmed this.” – Dr. Karla Turner, PhD, Taken
- Jesus’ Identity – Jesus was an alien “incarnated” on earth – George Adamski
- Jesus’ Identity – “Whenever a planet has problems like Earth is experiencing now, a special person is born on the planet to help. … and the Son of God was the person who was called on to help. He has also been born on other planets.” – Alien Contact: The Messages They Bring, by Bonnie Meyer
- False Prophets – I AM SANANDA, KNOWN TO YOU AS JESUS THE CHRIST… I AM SANANDA, AND THIS IS MY MESSAGE TO THE WORLD.” – Project World Evacuation, Compiled through Tuella, by The Ashtar Command
- Jesus’ Ascension – “You see, he went up to a UFO in a beam, he went aboard a ship, and He is alive today and He will return in a ship called the New Jerusalem and it will be stationed outside of the atmosphere.” – Bonnie Meyer, Alien Contact: The Messages They Bring
- Jesus’ Purpose and Ressurection – Alien named Yahweh told him “we decided that the time had come to send a new messenger on earth .… says Jesus was “scientifically revived by other aliens and taken back to the Elohim planet” … says Jesus “didn’t die for the sins of the world.” – Bill Alnor, UFO Cults and The New Millennium
The Message Identifies the Source
If these reported aliens were truly biological beings from other planets, why would they deem Christianity so special? If they were foreign to earth religions, it would be logical that they would challenge all religions. Yet, none of these aliens are challenging Mohammad, Buddha, or Krishna.
The fact that these beings target Jesus shows that they know the truth, that He is the son of God. This fact reveals that these beings are not interplanetary aliens but heavenly beings in rebellion against God.
The Alien Deception and the End of this Age
Jesus warned us that deception and false prophecy will be a sign of the end of this age. We also know that the Antichrist’s False Prophet will deceive many by performing false signs and wonders, including bringing fire down from the sky.
Christian end-times prophecy details a time to come when the world faces cataclysmic disasters in a time of judgment. But God promises believers that before He pours out His wrath, He will gather us to Him for a time, and then we will return with Jesus Christ to rule in the millennium to follow.
The alien message presents an alternative deceptive interpretation of these events. “It will be the time when the disasters are at their peak. It will happen when people will no longer be able to stand the disruptions and the chaos. The remainder of the people who are living will be picked up by spacecraft and be taken to safety on the planet Saturn. Here they will be cared for until the Earth is once again ready to be inhabited… You are all in the hands of the Space brothers, and the sooner you realize this, the better.” – Brad Steiger, Aquarian Revelations: Channeling Higher Intelligence
One question end-times researchers ponder is how the Antichrist will explain millions of people disappearing in the rapture. Deceptive messages like the one above seem to be laying the foundation for a false explanation for the rapture.
For those who reject the truth, God will send a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false. This is why we must discern what is false and not fall to any deceptions, including an alien deception.
